What is Home?

🪷 A Home Within 🏡

A safe space for you.

Where healing meets truth, and truth leads you home.

What is home?

Is it a place? A person? A goal we chase—or a feeling we quietly crave?

Is it the peace we felt as children, before the world told us who to be?

Is it the version of ourselves that feels most like “us”—before the trauma, before the heartbreak, before the burnout?

Or maybe it’s not something we find, but something we remember.

If you’re asking these questions too, you’re not alone. And if you’ve found your way here—know this wasn’t random. There are no coincidences. This space found you for a reason.

🌀 My Words, Your Connection:

A year ago, I hit a life low. I felt completely disconnected from myself and the life I was living. I was trapped in a toxic relationship, freshly out of a five-year relationship, vulnerable, confused, unhappy, undecided, lacked confidence and identity, cared about what others thought of me and who I should be, I was lost, a lost where I lost myself in someone else’s happiness. My identity was tangled in pleasing others, and I was mentally, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted.

Then I did something radical:

I deleted social media✅

Changed my number✅

Packed up everything that could fit in a small U-haul and the back of my car with plenty of room for my dogs… and moved to a new state✅

Not to run away, but maybe a little—but to come home to myself. Whatever home was, I was still searching at the time. I was searching for the feeling I longed for, hoped for, dreamed for. A Home Within will explore how I found it.

Those radial and slightly impulsive life transformations were only the beginning of my inward journey, and this blog is the continuation of it. It’s an offering, a reflection, and a reminder—you are not alone. Stay tuned.

Why I Created This Space

A Home Within is for the people who feel like their lives are burning from the inside out—even if no one else sees the flames. It’s for those holding it all together, while silently wondering:

“Who am I?”

“What do I deserve?”

“How did I get here?”

“How do I get out?”

“Is god real?”

“Is this all there is?”

“Am I meant for more?”

“Am I meant for more?”

“Am I meant for more?”

“Am I meant for more?”

And if you’re asking that question… the answer is yes, you are-Made for more.

Asking questions is the first step to growing, expanding, knowing.

This blog is for you if:

You’ve reached your goals but feel something is still missing. You’re stuck in a relationship that doesn’t feel safe or fulfilling, but you don’t know how to leave. You’ve lost someone—recently or long ago—and you’re still trying to navigate life in their absence. You’re carrying unhealed pain from childhood or generational trauma. You want to be a better person, but don’t know where to start. You’re craving spiritual growth, but unsure what that even means yet. You’re rebuilding your self-worth, faith, identity, authenticity or habits. You care deeply, but feel overwhelmed, overextended, or unseen. You’re looking for truth, clarity, peace, freedom—and maybe, like me, you just want to finally feel whole.

This space is for you if you’re searching.

If you’re expanding.

If you’re exhausted—but not done.

You don’t have to be at the “end” of your journey to belong here. You just have to be willing to start—or to keep going. This space holds you through it all. Truth be told, there isn’t an end, a final destination, that is the point of GROWTH, contestant growth and movement, in the directions that call for you. When you hear that calling, follow it.

🛖 What “A Home Within” Really Means

Home isn’t just a place. It’s not a career, or a partner, or a bank account.

It’s the quiet, unwavering safety you cultivate within.

It’s choosing yourself, even when the world doesn’t understand.

It’s learning how to hold your pain, your joy, your contradictions—and still love yourself through it.

This blog isn’t written from a mountaintop. It’s written from the middle.

From the messy middle of healing. From the sacred edge of becoming.

Here, I’ll be sharing:

A space woven from raw personal stories — unfiltered reflections on self-worth, loss, identity, love, and the messy beauty of becoming. It’s for the ones learning to speak their truth after years of silence, for those creating safety within themselves when the world felt anything but.

On A Home Within, you’ll discover healing tools, heartfelt prayers, uplifting quotes, and soul-led challenges. You’ll find journaling prompts to guide your inner work, emotional and spiritual insights to spark transformation, and gentle encouragement to keep going.

We’ll explore wellness, movement, nourishing food, and the rituals that help us show up for ourselves, sharing all and in between, limitless topics that call to me to share. We’ll dive into conscious living, intentional habits, and what it means to build a life rooted in your truth — not someone else’s expectations. I ill share my knowledge, experiences and stories with my perspective that may reflect something in you as well.

This is a space for growth, grace, and coming home to yourself.

🕊 A Final Invitation

If something brought you here, let it.

If you feel a nudge to stay, listen.

This space will not push you. But it will welcome you.

And if it’s not meant for you right now—that’s okay, too. The door is always open.

This is a safe space for becoming.

This is where you return when the world gets too loud.

When the unknown of change becomes less scary and more comfortable than your current situation.

🕊 Wholeness Was Never Missing

I used to think I needed someone to complete me—to feel love, to be love, to know love.

But the truth is: I was never missing anything.

The love I was searching so desperately to give to someone else?

I had it within me the whole time.

Healing didn’t come from someone choosing me.

It came from me choosing me.

This blog is not about becoming someone else.

It’s about remembering who you already are.

You are not broken.

You are not too much.

You are not behind.

You are whole.

And you always have been. Let this space inspire and remind you.

This is a blog, yes—but more than that, it’s a mirror. A reminder. A hand to hold.

✍️ Journal Prompt

What does “home” mean to me — beyond a physical place?
Is it a feeling, a memory, a person, or something I’m still searching for? Have I ever felt truly at home within myself?

Take a moment to reflect. Don’t worry about perfect words — just be honest.

🌱 Your Gentle Challenge

If anything in this post resonated with you, pause and give yourself permission to explore why.
Find a quiet moment this week — no pressure, just presence — and ask yourself:
What would it look like to come home to myself, just as I am?
Start with one small act of self-honoring. Even awareness is a step toward home.

Your truth doesn’t have to be loud to matter. Begin there.
